TESLACIGS INVADER III 240W BOX MOD
The Tesla Invader III Box mod is a perfectly balanced combination of intense adjustable power, aesthetics and ergonomics. This is unlike most mods in the market, as it looks like a mechanical mod, but beneath it contains a mosfet switch and hardware to protect against low voltage, short circuits, low resistance and reverse battery placement. Not only that, but it is able to turn on and off, with a simple 5-click of the fire button.
The aesthetic deisgn is smooth, clean and simple, with a smooth stainless steel finish or matte black finish. The mod also features a white roman numeral labeled black dial to adjust voltage which contrast with the rest of the mod, as well as a subtle engraving of “INVADER III”.
The Invader III has the capability to output 240W and read down to a solid 0.1ohm. It also features a threaded 510 brass pin and houses dual 18650 batteries in series format.

This mod is great for anyone wanting to get in to the mechanical side of vaping. Has all the safety features of a regulated device but performs like an unregulated series box. You wont be pushing the 7.4 volts you could possibly get from a series mech but you get darn close at 6.7 volts. The only problems I have had with this mod come from the fit and finish not from the chip, voltage dial or the way it vapes. I love the way it vapes, fires right away and never gave me any issues with performance.
So now for my cons. First the paint job looks nice but scratches quick. Once it is scratched your finger nail can take just about all the paint off the mod in an hour (I went from blue to nothing in an hour just picking at it). Second con is the battery fit. Its tight. So tight that you should not have an atomizer screwed on when placing your batteries in unless you want to rip your raps. Even without an atomizer screwed in this is very easy to do. Last con is subjective I guess, the 510 connect will only look nice with a 22mm atomizer attached, any other atomizer hangs over the edge and looks a bit silly in my opinion.
Over all, I do love this mod. It feels nice in the hand, performs well, simple to use and is a good value considering the price compared to something similar like the hex ohm. I bought one and would buy another down the road. Although I think I would go with the gun metal version so I dont have to worry about the paint job :)
